Twilight of the Gavel

In the halls of justice, a seasoned tide recedes, Leaving behind the echo where once conviction leads. The balance of scales, now a dance of chance, Wisconsin watches, waits, in this juridical lance. So the gavel rests as the twilight courts the dawn, With the robed guardian's exit, a new epoch is drawn.
