Justice on the Scales
In halls of law where oaths are weaved into the looms of fate, Where justices on high preside, and lower courts await. The balance swings with heavy heart, a pendulum of truths, For every test of patience comes a tolling for the ruths. Between the gavel's echo and the ink on parchment dry, We search for mercy's vestige in the solemn juror's eye.
