The Palmetto Political Dance
In the dance of the palmetto grove, beneath the sun's high trump, A daughter of the southern soil prepares her stately jump. With eyes of courage, clear and bright, she claims the stage once more, Bracing against the looming tide and the winds of yore. Her steps resound with hope's own beat, a challenge fierce and grand, As the whispers of the live oaks weave the future she has planned.
