Partisan Tides

In halls where reason sought to thrive, The tides of partisanship arrive. What once was aimed at peace and trust, Now drifts in shadows, lost in rust. Yet through the fog of colors bright, A glimmer of hope ignites the night, For unity's song, if we could find, Might mend the hearts once torn and blind.
